Church News:

  • Saints and Sinners 5K

    • St. Patrick Parish in Hutto will host a Saints & Sinners After-Dark 5k and MusicFEST with Soundwave on May 4. The 5K will start at sunset and Soundwave will play at 9 p.m. at Hutto High School Stadium (Hwy. 79 and FM 685).

    • Cost for the Neon 5k: Adults (16+) $30, Youth (15 and under) $20

    • All proceeds will be put to good use in building the walls, windows and doors of St. Patrick, thus allowing them to continue to serve and provide charitable works in our community.

  • The Mobile Loaves and Fishes 5K will be held on Sunday May 5 at 8am, followed by a kids run at 9a.m. at Cedar Park High School.  Registration is $30 for 5K racers in advance and $35 the day of the race.  To learn more about this family friendly event which benefits the St. Thomas More Mobile Loaves and Fishes Ministry, visit mlffamily5k.org.

  • St. Austin’s parish will be hosting a presentation on St. Gianna Molla will be held on April 16 at 7pm in Hecker Hall. St. Gianna is the patron saint of physicians, healthcare workers, mothers and babies in crisis.  Mr. Thomas McKenna, who is President of the St. Gianna Guild will be presenting St. Gianna’s second class relics, including the fetoscope St. Gianna to hear the heartbeat of her patients’ unborn child! Reservations are required, seating is limited for this event, RSVP by emailing info@jpiilifecenter.org by noon on Monday, April 15

  • Parables in Luke’s Gospel: April 20

    • Join us as Fr. Angelo Bertini, explores some of his favorite parables in the Gospel of Luke. Why did Jesus use parables, what do they mean, and how can we can apply them to our life today? Fr.
