You have probably heard by now about the case of Kermit Gosnell and the “House of Horrors” in Philadelphia. If you haven’t, I must warn you the details are not for children. There’s information all over the internet about his clinic.
If you have been following the story you may have noticed the national news shows haven’t covered this story. at. all. except for local Pennsylvania news. Today from noon to midnight you are invited to join the tweetfest on Twitter to expose Kermit Gosnell’s malpractice and the truth behind abortion with a #Gosnell. It is suspected the national media has decided not to run the story because it would convince others to not support abortion.
When I first heard the gruesome facts about this case, the words “Lord have mercy” quickly escaped from my mouth.
This past Sunday was Divine Mercy Sunday and while we may not understand the mindset this Doctor had to run his practice horribly, Jesus’ divine Mercy is there for everyone who desires to become closer to Christ’s heart. The clinic workers, women and men that stood by this Doctor are forever traumatized and changed (If you are an abortion clinic worker, please visit ATTWN).
St Faustina records several communications she had with Jesus in her book “Divine Mercy in my Soul”
“I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the Fount of My Mercy… My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity… Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy.”
Notebook II, 699
It is pretty clear the world is not at peace, turn to Christ and His image in the Chaplet of Divine Mercy to pray with the Holy Innocence that have lost their lives from this tragedy.
“The greater the sinner; the greater the right he has to My mercy. My mercy is confirmed in every work of My hands. He who trusts in my mercy will not parish, for all affairs are Mine and his enemies will be shattered at the base of My footstool.”
Notebook II, 723
The Mercy of Christ is needed for our country more than ever, I invite you all to pray the Divine Mercy with me today. There is no sin too great to escape the mercy of our Lord.
