First Ever Diocesan Men’s Conference February 16

Published February 15, 2013 • Written by Cristóbal Almanza Herrera Filed Under: World and News

We are living in turbulent times.

The world needs a generation of men that recognizes its unique role of leadership, and sometimes we need to gather to remember the importance and focus of our mission.

I was blessed to join a large group of men for the Diocesan Men’s mass with Bishop Joe last summer, and I found it very energizing to worship our Lord  with my fellow brothers in Christ.

The Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men is putting on the first ever Diocesan Men’s Conference this Saturday, February 16, 2013. There will be over 1,000 men gathered at Saint William Catholic Church in Round Rock to renew their passion for the Lord led by Matthew Kelly and inspirational music by Eliot Morris.

Matthew Kelly is a world renowned speaker and Catholic writer that is sure to inspire you.

I was blown away by the number of men who gave their Saturday to hear Matthew talk. It was truly inspirational. I was also proud to count my husband as part of that group. I hope we have many more talks like this for our men. 🙂

Please mark February 22, 2014, on your calendar for the Second Annual Diocesan Men’s Conference! Father Larry Richards has been secured as the keynote speaker. It’s going to be another inspiring event from the Central Texas Fellowship of Catholic Men.
