Cris, your comment about Mark Zuckerberg possibly finds it relaxing to process the chicken himself made me laugh out loud while on a long road trip. And reminded me of a time when I was in middle school that I had to help process a chicken. I was living in Malaysia at the time with my family and was on a school trip to a local village for a week in an annual event that spread students across the country so they could experience and learn more about the culture. While at this local village I sure did experience a lot of local culture, including mud-fishing, rice farming and an I-will-never-forget experience of witnessing the death of a chicken and helping process and prepare the chicken for our meal. (Sorry for the slightly-graphic nature here…) She was partially beheaded, then released in the yard to run around and bleed out, before being grabbed by the legs and dunked into a big kettle of boiling water. From there, the chicken was placed in front of me and several other girls to pluck its feathers off and de-bone it (since it was cooked).

Yeah… I couldn’t eat the chicken that night. And I think this experience contributes to my why to this day I cannot de-bone a chicken without being disgusted.
