As the year quickly comes to an end I wanted to use this time to say “thank you” to all of our wonderful contributors and our audience.
We’ve grown a lot over the past year, adding a number of great contributors and syndicated blogs. With each contributor we add a new voice and perspective to how we can live out our Catholic faith. It’s my hope that the uniqueness that each of our contributors brings can speak to everyone out there in a different way. As a community of content creators we are all on our own faith journey and it’s been a pleasure to have our readers along for the ride this past year. Our readers have contributed so much in the comboxes, on Facebook and on Twitter. These comments are sincerely appreciated and let us know that we are on the right track.
This year we launched a new podcast called “Beauty of Truth” hosted by Casey Truelove and Cristobal Almanza. “Beauty of Truth” has addressed the sometimes tough questions such as “Why is the Church so bossy?” and “What is the Purpose of Sex?”. Casey and Cristobal do a great job answering these questions through the lens of our Catholic faith. If you haven’t gotten a chance to listen to this wonderful show yet, I highly recommend it.
I also have to thank my two co-host Chris Williston and Cristina Almanza who join me every week for “Two Guys, a Girl and a Catholic Podcast”. I can not tell you how much I look forward to our time together and the laughs we share. God willing we will hit episode 100 this coming year and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. A special shout out to all of our guest co-host who have filled in over the past year and I’m sure will be called upon again in 2013. We also have some of the best listeners in the podcast arena who will be able to join us live via Google+ Hangout On-Air, so stay tuned for that.
Last but not least I want to thank Pat Ryan of Relevant Radio 970am here in Austin for all of his support and the great local content that he provides to us. Including the daily readings and homily from the pastoral center of the Diocese of Austin. Pat goes above and beyond to be a supporter of our mission and we can’t thank him enough.
We are looking forward to a great 2013 with lots of new content, some great meet-ups and hopefully a few surprises.
Thanks and God bless!
