- The John Paul II Life Center is honored to have Cardinal Daniel DiNardo keynote at the second annual benefit dinner – especially during this time in our country’s history in which religious freedom is at risk. Cardinal DiNardo serves as the Pro-Life Chair for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Opening our event in prayer is Austin Diocese Bishop Joe Vásquez. Introducing the Cardinal is Governor Rick Perry. We are also excited to present the Dignity in Life Award to Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Hilgers for their pioneering work with NaPro TECHNOLOGY fertility care at The Pope Paul VI Institute.
