  • July Theology on Tap: What’s My Faith Got to do With Public Life?

    • Every day we are inundated by information about upcoming elections, religious liberty and public policy. What does the church teach us about these things? How do we form our consciences about the issues that these topics present? Join us on Thursday, July 5th at Theology on Tap, where Barbara Budde, Director of the Office of Social Concerns for the Diocese of Austin will address living out our faith in our approach to these issues.     • The Altar Society of Santa Cruz Parish in Buda will present “The Deepest Longings of Our Heart,” a retreat for women, June 30 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Deane Hall at Santa Cruz in Buda. Dominican Sister Helen Raycraft will be the presenter. The cost is $20, which includes lunch, coffee and materials.
