2011 has been an exciting year for us here at Austin Catholic New Media. Our website is not even a year old, and we’ve seen some incredible response to our local mission. We are still only getting started with many of the different elements of our apostolate, but we are very grateful for the support of the community here in this diocese.
Our net is not cast wide, but our we hope to go deep within this diocese. We pray that our mission can continue to help strengthen ministries, parishes, and other Catholic organizations to join us in evangelizing in the digital continent.
The ACNM group has experienced large growth, and we hope to continue adding other Catholics in our diocese. Contact us if you are interested in joining our mission. God willing, 2012 is going to see some incredible new things, and we’re excited to promote Truth and the message of the Gospel in new ways and to new people in the Diocese of Austin.
Please join us in prayer and know that you are in our prayers. May all the glory be to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Fourth Quarter Meet Up
Monday, December 19th, we will be hosting our fourth quarter meet up at St Ignatius, Martyr Catholic Church in South Austin. The Meet-Up will be in the upstairs Computer Lab in the Family Center.
This quarter’s presentation will feature Martina Kreitzer, founder of the Catholic Sistas blog, on the importance of relationships with the online audience. Join us for a night of socializing, networking, learning, and collaboration. There will be a think thank for open discussion and sharing of ideas.
Open to all and RSVP is not required. Help us spread the word and visi the Facebook event. We hope to see you there.
