Church News:
- 2nd Anniversary of Spirit and Truth with Bishop Joe Vasquez is on Monday, October 24th at 7pm at Sacred Heart Parish. His Excellency will speak about “Fighting Moral Relativism*,” an extremely relevant topic for young adults. The talk will be followed by Q&A and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with praise and worship music. As usual, confessions will be available while many young adults from the Diocese of Austin adore Jesus!
- Festival of Saints – Saturday October 29 6PM This is a wholesome, alternative to the secular Halloween by celebrating All Saints Day with our Catholic community.
This festival is open to the entire diocese and will take place at the Parish Hall at Saint William Catholic Church starting at 6PM. The festival features free children’s games and a saint costume contest. Admission is $2/person. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Dress as your favorite saint. More info at wilcoya.com - A day of reflection on the Divine Mercy and Eucharist will be held on Oct. 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mercy of God Prayer Center in Austin. The featured speaker is Bryan Thatcher, an author and founder of the International Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy. Other speakers include Deacon Guadalupe Rodriguez, Joseph Riaz and Roni Cook.
