This holiday weekend, I pray you and your families are getting everything done that you hoped to. I know the weather here in Austin is being a little forgiving. (It’s not over a 100 degrees for once!)
But, if later this evening you find yourselves back indoors (immensely thank for somewhere soft to sit as I know I’ll be) and turn your attention to the television after your fill of college football, you should check out tonight’s intallment of “Family Movie Night”.
FMN has been around for a while, promoting quality, family oriented movies. As an added bonus, the commercials are even family friendly. Tonight’s feature is “Game Time: Tackling the Past” staring Catholic actress Catherine Hicks (7th Heaven) and premiers at 8/7c on NBC.
I don’t know you about you, but this is going to be great warm-up to the start of the NFL season. “Game Time” follows the story of a pro-football player (Jake Walker) who has to leave for home in North Carolina when his father (Beau Bridges) is hospitalized. It uses football to showcase a story about how a person’s true value is measured.
Locally, the feature will air on the NBC affiliate KXAN (36.1 broadcast) at 7pm Central after the Notre Dame game. Click here for the show’s website featuring clips, a synopsis, and the cast & crew.
