• The Word of the Lord: Life, Mission, and Purpose in the Church –
• Scripture is both Word and Sacrament, yet many times we find ourselves emphasizing one over the other. At Theology on Tap on Wednesday, September 7, Tom Perna will share with us Pope Benedict XVI’s call to encounter Jesus in the Word, as well as the depth of our Catholic identity to be found there. Please join us at Nuevo Leon (1501 E 6th St, Austin) at 6 pm for live music, and Tom’s presentation at 7 pm.

• Matt Maher is coming to Texas State University in San Marcos, TX in Strahan Coliseum on Sunday, September 18th at 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
