Peter Kreeft and Jeff Cavins in Austin Nov 30-Dec 1

Published November 30, 2012 • Written by Cristóbal Almanza Herrera Filed Under: World and News

The year of faith is an opportunity for all of us to grow deeper. That means we have to take some initiative and go to presentations, attend studies, and go outside ourselves to learn about our beautiful faith.

This weekend, the Diocese of Austin is blessed with two wonderful opportunities to attend presentations, retreats, and seminars from two of the best speakers in our country. The only unfortunate point is that they are happening at the same time in different locations, so you will have to make a decision. Either way, you will get a lot from it.

If you can’t make it to either, spread the word and invite a friend.

Peter Kreeft at St John Neuamman

St. John Neumann Catholic Church is excited to announce the visit of popular writer/philosopher, Peter Kreeft, Ph.D.  In his 40 years as an academic, he has authored more than 40 books, including such well-received works as Angels (and Demons):  What Do We Really Know About Them?, Catholic Christianity, How to Win the Culture War, Because God is Real: Sixteen Questions, One Answer, as well as an earlier book, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Heaven . . . But Never Dreamed of Asking.  He has been a Professor of Philosophy at Boston College since 1965 and also teaches at King’s College in New York.
