Joining Our Team

Interested in being a contributor for ATX Catholic? We are looking to expand our content.

Requirements for all candidates

All candidates must be active Roman Catholics that have received all sacraments of initiation, or in the process of receiving those sacraments. All contributors must also maintain a strong public image and be in good standing with the church.

Once your content is approved, we may request a letter of recommendation from your local parish priest or other leader in the local church. All candidates must be in or directly connected with the Diocese of Austin.

Blog Contributors

Submit your first post to us in text only version by emailing us at feedback@austincnm.com with the subject: ATX Catholic Contributor Application.

Please specify your specialty topics and a short history of yourself in the body of the message.

Your post will then be reviewed by our board of directors and subject to edits.

The schedule offer 2 or 1 post per month.

 

Community Blog and Podcast Syndication

Submit a link to your blog in an email to feedback@austincnm.com with the subject: ATX Catholic Syndicaiton Application.

We encourage creating a new category for a feed of the select blogs you want to forward to our site, but are willing to accept the general feed as well.

There is no expectation on frequency of posts.

 

Column Contributors

Submit your first post to us in text-only version by emailing feedback@austincnm.com with the subject: ATX Catholic Column Contributor.

All Column contributors must have a degree in Theology, Religious Studies Catechesis, or other related field or hold a position of leadership in the local church (i.e. DRE, Youth Minister, etc). It is also for all those in the priesthood and religious life.

 

Podcast Contributors

Submit your first episode and concept to us  by emailing feedback@austincnm.com with the subject: ATX Catholic Podcast Contributor Application.
Frequency will be discussed after application.

Video Contributors

Submit your first video post by sending a link to a YouTube, Vimeo, or other service to feedback@austincnm.com with the subject: ATX Catholic Video Contributor Application.

Please indicate your direction, goals, and focus along with a short history of yourself in the body of the message.

Your video will then be reviewed by our board of directors and will return a review with comments.

Frequency will be discussed after application.
