Blessing and Investiture of the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

πŸ“… Date: Sunday, July 13, 2025

πŸ•˜ Time: 3:00 PM Service

πŸ“ Location: St. William Catholic Church, Round Rock, TX

Join us for a special Blessing and Investiture of the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 3:00 PM at St. William Catholic Church. The Investiture will include reading of the Word, preaching, and a blessing with the investiture

The Brown Scapular, given by the Blessed Virgin Mary to St. Simon Stock in the 13th century, is one of the most beloved sacramentals in the Catholic Church. It is a sign of devotion to Our Lady and a commitment to live a life of prayer and faithfulness to Christ.

Tradition holds that Mary made a powerful promise to those who wear the scapular with devotion:

β€œWhoever dies clothed in this scapular shall not suffer eternal fire.”

It is a spiritual gift that encourages a life of virtue, prayer (especially the Rosary), and trust in Mary’s intercession.

All are welcome to receive the scapular blessing and investiture. Scapulars will be provided.

Come take part in this beautiful tradition and entrust yourself to the care of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
