For centuries, St. Michael the Archangel has used relic stones from his cave in Gargano, Italy, to perform miracles. (See: St. Michael Relic Stone article September 2, 2017.) On September 25, 1656, St Michael said:
“I am the Archangel St. Michael. Anyone who uses the stones of this grotto will be liberated…”
At the St. Michael’s cave gift shop, there is a 211-page book called “EBBI MIRACOLO” (I HAD A MIRACLE) in Italian which contains hundreds of documented miracles granted by God through St. Michael’s intercession.
Throughout this article you will see photos of paintings that devotees had painted and placed in the cave’s museum at Gargano, to thank St. Michael for his powerful life-saving miracles. “A picture says a thousand words,” and these paintings speak for themselves. Some date as far back as 1876.
St Michael continues to obtain great graces for us through his relic stones. Here are a few recent miracles related by relatives of mine, friends, or faithful from the Diocese of Austin whom I know personally and who have gone out of their way to share their stories with me. These people are honest, sincere, and of good moral character, and they have given me permission to share their incredible miracles.
MIRACLE 1
The first miracle involves Zane who is my sister’s grandson and age 8. He is a daily mass altar server, and Daisy is my daughter who has been one of Zane’s closet friends.
“My dear beautiful niece [Daisy] I love your words, ‘God works in such wonders.’ Today Zane and I saw God at work…we were coming home from church and of course Zane wears his St Michael Relic Stone necklace everywhere, so a few blocks from home he always gets off and rides his scooter home. Today a big Doberman came out of nowhere and straight at Zane. Zane started screaming and running straight in front of the truck, and I kept yelling for him to move aside so I could hit the dog with the truck for that was our only salvation for I knew once he got to Zane, he would be torn apart, My Goodness Daisy! It was a horrible moment! Daisy, he [dog] was a few feet away from Zane when he [dog] just stopped and turned around like something was after him, I ran to Zane and held him and said, its ok the dog is gone and Zane said ‘It’s because I showed him my St. Michael rock nana, and he got scared.’ I. Believe that is what happened. So Zane wanted me to tell uncle Guadalupe ‘thank you for my St Michael rock!’” [added]
MIRACLE 2
I had just finished making my daily holy hour, and this person who had heard me give a talk on the angels during a class asked to speak with me. The person said that they had been involved in nefarious new age activity in their past, and now they had converted to the Catholic faith via the RCIA program at the parish. The person asked for advice since their tongue burnt and left blisters when they would receive Holy Communion. Having had a previous case like this, I gave the person advice of what to do plus I said that they needed to obtain a St. Michael Relic Stone. The next paragraph is the person’s testimony on the power of the St. Michael Relic Stone.
“Before I became Catholic, I would have nightmares, and I could actually feel the weight of a demon in the bed. I have had two demons in the bed before. It is kind of like how it would feel if a large cat got on the bed and walked around. Very frightening, but I would wake up and tell them they had to leave because I belong to Jesus and they would leave. After becoming Catholic, I could still feel them on the edge of the bed, as if they were sitting or pushing down on the mattress. Again, it would wake me up, and I would say I belong to Jesus, leave. After putting the St Michael’s relic under my pillow, I am sleeping well, dreaming more. But this morning, something was pressing on my mattress at the foot of the bed, woke me up. Apparently, they are not able to get on the bed now. St. Faustina mentions a similar experience in her Diary. I was afraid to tell anyone about this but after reading this in her Diary, and she was so close to Jesus, that I felt validated in my experiences. The St Michael Relic is protecting me, I wear my brown scapular and St Michael scapular.”
The person’s tongue no longer burns when they receive Holy Communion, and the attacks have stopped. The diary story of St. Faustina is in paragraph 412,
“I saw many demons. One of these tried to vex me; taking the form of a cat, he kept throwing himself onto my bed and on my feet, and he was quite heavy, as if weighing a ton.”
MIRACLE 3
The next story is a close friend who lives in Austin, Texas, who was moving to a new house and one of the movers had deliverance issues so he could not touch the St. Michael Relic Stone. The names of the movers were changed to protect their identity.
“I have been meaning to tell you this story that happened while we were moving on June 29th. We had two movers that day, Tom and Larry. There was something off about Larry – all of the children got a not-good feeling about him. He had tattoos all over him. I thought one of them looked satanic. It wasn’t that he was mean, but he seemed a little on the rough side. He was strong, and he was working hard. As you know there was a lot to move!
After hours of moving it seemed strange to call me in my bed room. I had my St. Michael relic you gave me under the mattress. He said, ‘Ma’am, can you pick that up? I can’t touch it.’
He didn’t even know what it was! When I told him, he said, ‘Why didn’t you just leave it in Italy where it belongs?’
I really didn’t reflect on this until a few days later.”
MIRACLE 4
From a woman who I know to be a very prayerful soul shared the following miracle of the St. Michael Relic Stone’s protective power.
Back in September 2019 at the St. Michael the Archangel Conference, I purchased two St. Michael Relic Stones. I keep one in my purse and one under my pillow.
A couple of weeks ago I had decided to go see a movie by myself. As I was walking up to the ticket office, I noticed three men looking right at me. These men looked like they may have been dangerous, not from around here. It sent chills down my spine. I continued up to the ticket window, but when I got up to the ticket counter, I could see them in the reflection of the large glass window. They were about six feet behind me but not buying tickets, they were watching me. So, I decided to go back to my car, when I was walking to my car, there was another one in the parking lot. He looked right at me, but I was able to get in my car and lock the door. For several days later I felt so fearful of what could have happened. But then I realized the St. Michael relic stone was in my purse. St Michael had protected me.”
MIRACLES 5
Adam Blai shared deliverance miracles during solemn exorcisms via the St. Michael Relic Stone and his St. Michael icon at the St. Michael the Archangel Conference on September 27-28, 2019. Afterwards, I took Adam out to eat at “Fonda San Miguel,” and two persons had an encounter and conversion with the St. Michael Relic Stone and the icon.
Adam placed his icon on the eating table, and I placed the extra-large 3-inch St. Michael Relic Stone in a monstrance reliquary that I got from the cave since we were at St. Michael’s restaurant. We just felt bad leaving them in the car or in our bags while we ate.
One person stopped and said they felt God’s presence, so they kept on passing several times by our table until they had the courage to stop. By now they were in tears because of the overwhelming holy presence they felt. The person asked if we had the Blessed Sacrament since they sensed an overpowering presence engulfing them. We asked if the person wanted prayer and afterwards blessed the person with the St. Michael Relic Stone. The person continued in tears of conversion and joy saying they now planned to return to mass on Sunday after being away for many years.
A second person our waitress asked if she could get prayed over with the St. Michael Relic Stone, and we prayed and blessed her with the St. Michael Relic Stone. Mind you, this is in the middle of eating chips and salsa. She, too, experienced healing tears, and it was clear something transforming had occurred which she couldn’t share, but nonetheless she thanked us profusely for the deep encounter with God via the relic and icon.
The owner then came by, and I asked if we could bless the restaurant with the St. Michael Relic Stone. He said yes, so we blessed “Fonda San Miguel,” in public and in broad daylight in front of everyone. Three powerful miraculous moments that caught Adam and I completely off guard, but it was clear St. Michael facilitated the encounters. On seeing this Adam left the icon in my care for two weeks.
MIRACLE 6
Catherine Macora, a friend and Consecrated Woman of Regnum Christi, has taken care of her mother Esther Macora for many years. Esther missed her late husband as the strong man of the house so a friend gave her a St. Michael Relic Stone as the new strong man of the house. Each day as Esther passes the St. Michael Relic Stone in her room, she kisses it and says the St. Michael prayer.
On Saturday, November 10, 2019, Esther fell, and as frail as she is at nearly 90, she was not in the least hurt, save for being a bit sore. Everyone was shocked to say the least, and they attributed the miracle to St. Michael’s intercession and protection. In 2018 (before the relic arrived) Esther fell and broke her pelvis and was hospitalized and in rehab for weeks. They gave her little chance of walking again, but she is still walking, by God’s Grace and mercy.
MIRACLE 7
Finally, yours is the last miracle! As David used a single stone to defeat the giant (1Samuel 17:49) so may you use the St. Michael Relic Stone to conquer the giant in your life. May you be victorious so that one day you may receive from Jesus the “white stone with a new name written on it (Rev.2:17)!”

My lack of knowledge was wanting growing up and nothing was ever taught about St. Michael. Much of my research has come about on my own late in life. I memorized the prayer and say it morning and night, or more. I read only recently about the cave, but I had no knowledge of the stones until I read your article.
A couple of weeks ago, where I walk almost daily, I noticed some gang graffiti on a wall to a building, and next to the tagging were demonic symbols that I recognized. I made the sign of the cross towards it and asked St. Michael to remove this blasphemy. Concluding my walk, less than an hour later, before I could see the wall again, I said the St. Michael prayer, and when I turned around to see the wall, the graffiti was gone. I fell to my knees on the asphalt and gave thanks and praise to God. I grew up, and am Catholic and so gingerly is anything every taught about anything. Until a couple of years ago, I didn’t even know we each had our own guardian Angel. That picture I saw as a child, It was two children walking across the bridge and only one Angel. I used to think only some children more deserving warranted the presence of a guardian Angel to protect them. Thank you for all your postings, and educating us.

This is so incredible! Are you a priest? I mention this since you made the sign of the cross. Although saints like St. Catherine of Sienna who wasn’t a priest made the sign of the cross over the possessed, and they were delivered. You see it in the bible also, “Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us” (Lk.9:49). Thank you for sharing this miracle.

In the book the Possessed – true case (which the movie the exorcist was based on), It was St. Michael who delivered the boy from satan. Those brothers who were present in chapel saw an imagine of St. Michael when it happened. I recommend the book. If only I was taught the prayer as a child, or even thought we could ask the Angels for protection then.

For the relic stones, I am from the US trying to order some of them but the store in the US sells them for $12 each but sold out and has been sold out for about 3 weeks now (note I check daily). If I were to order directly from the cave, is each stone $50 for shipping, etc… or could I get say 10 relic stones in one box to be shipped over for that price?
They ran out in the U.S. but soon they will have more relic stones. I would just wait. As for the Italy shrine/cave we should try to help them out as much as possible by sending $50 per stone to cover international shipping costs, the expense of the reliquary (metal container holding the St. Michael Relic Stone, also called a “theca”), the processing fee (expense of hiring someone to chip away stones from the cave and place the relic inside the theca), and to support this important international St. Michael shrine. I have this relic stone & carry it with me always, I have put it in the hand of someone who was sick & watched color come into there face & they were back up on there feet quick on others that were sick I just saw a peace come over them. I also put it on the back of the neck of someone I know that didn’t know what I had & I could not believe it when they bowed there body from the waist down givinghonor to Michael, I was asked what is that & I told them & he said thank you, when he was dying I stood at his side in the hospital & slipped it into his hand for peace after he was gone a warmth & peace out of no where washed over me so I’m hoping Michael was there to take him home.
