A Discernment Dinner for high school age Catholic men will be held June 5 at 7 p.m. at St. William Parish Rectory in Round Rock. Men with an openness to encountering Christ, discovering their identity, and their mission are invited to join others for dinner, evening prayer, a presentation and discussion. Workplace Safety Forum hosted by Catholic Charities’ Junior Board

In wake of the West fertilizer explosion, the CCCTX Junior Board is hosting a Workplace Safety Forum at Fado’s on Wednesday, June 19th with fellowship beginning at 6pm, and the forum at 7pm. Glad y’all liked “cat bearding”. I would like to know what the cats think about this – maybe they’re just seeing it as the next step in their efforts to conquer the Internet.
And thanks guys for all that y’all have done! I found out about ACNM and listened to you guys way back in the beginning and made me want to be a part of this wonderful thing we have here! Can’t wait to tune in for episode 100!

I am surprised (and glad!) that Catholic Charities is hosting a Workplace Safety Forum. Church institutions do great work in the pro-life arena, and we need to expand the scope of what pro-life is. If workplace safety isn’t a life issue, I don’t know what is.
