Door of Mercy - Diocese of Austin

Door of Mercy at St Mary Cathedral – Cristóbal Almanza

For the 8th year in a row, there will be a Holy Mass celebrated as an encouragement to men. It’s easy to feel discouraged in a world that is confused and seeking to erode the virtues of masculinity in Christ. By gathering as a community of men of the local Church, we can pray for each other and hear the Lord speak to us through the liturgy of the Word, our bishop, and through the Eucharist.

This is also the Jubilee of Mercy and a wonderful opportunity for anyone that has not had the opportunity to pass through one of the Doors of Mercy set for our diocese.

The Holy Mass begins at 10AM in the Cathedral, but arriving early would be a good idea if you want a good seat. Immediately after the Mass, there will be a reception at Bishop’s Hall.

Join hundreds of men from around Central Texas for the 8th Annual Men’s Mass with Bishop Joe Vasquez.
