You&#8217;ll notice the reference to Abraham, the Father of our faith- counting stars and counting sands &#8211; indeed the countless blessings that God lovingly pours upon us(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usccb.org\/bible\/genesis\/22\">Genesis 22:17<\/a>). May we rejoice in the blessings we have been given as we continue to strive to live each day in covenant with God, as children of God&#8217;s\u00a0promise to Abraham.\u00a0\u00a0May we recognize that we are <em>all<\/em> longing for a home, and that we are called to be that home for<em> all<\/em> our brothers and sisters &#8211; I believe this call is fundamental to what made our country unique. Let us not lose sight of that.
