{"id":455246,"date":"2017-08-15T08:00:10","date_gmt":"2017-08-15T13:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atxcatholic.com\/?p=455246"},"modified":"2017-08-14T23:21:33","modified_gmt":"2017-08-15T04:21:33","slug":"immaculate-heart-mary-new-ark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atxcatholic.com\/index.php\/2017\/08\/immaculate-heart-mary-new-ark\/","title":{"rendered":"The Immaculate Heart of Mary &#8211; The New Ark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Go<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> into the ark, you and your whole family.\u201d (Gen.7:1)<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, 2017, is the centenary year of the messages of Fatima. \u00a0On May 13, 2010<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">when visiting Fatima, Pope Benedict XVI said, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;[May] the centenary of the apparitions HASTEN the fulfillment of the prophecy of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and he also reminded us that the Fatima message is not over, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We would be mistaken to think that Fatima&#8217;s prophetic mission is complete.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0This is important because according to the Fatima messages:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c\u2026various nations will be annihilated,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and in the third secret the children, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201csaw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand.\u201d<\/span><\/i> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">July 13, 1917 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-455251\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/atxcatholic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/ImmaculateHeartofMary-460x700.jpg?resize=460%2C700\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"700\" \/>The third secret of Fatima was released by the Vatican in the year 2000, and they had this to say about the angel with the flaming sword, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis represents the threat of judgment which looms over the world. \u00a0Today the prospect that the world might be reduced to ashes by a sea of fire no longer seems pure fantasy: man himself, with his inventions, has forged the flaming sword.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similarly, in another approved apparition in Akita, Japan Mary gives a similar message, <\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead.\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">October 13, 1972<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In every age God provides a way of peace or escape for His people, as during the times of Moses, Noah, Elijah, etc. \u00a0The danger we face now is unprecedented, but Mary\u2019s Immaculate Heart is the new ark in which God\u2019s people will be rescued. \u00a0It is THE place of refuge for all who say \u201cyes\u201d to living in her Immaculate Heart:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Are you suffering a great deal? Don\u2019t lose heart. I will never forsake you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Fatima, June 13,1917<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-455249\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/atxcatholic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/finished-ark-332x177.jpg?resize=332%2C177\" alt=\"\" width=\"332\" height=\"177\" \/>The Immaculate Heart of Mary as the New Ark is nothing new as the Church Fathers like St. Athanasius called her, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cthe Ark of sanctification.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> St. Ephrem exclaims, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cUrn must beautiful containing the heavenly manna; table bearing the written law for men, True Ark,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and St. Gregory Thaumaturgus proclaims<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u201cFor the holy Virgin is in truth an Ark, wrought with gold both within and without, that has received the whole treasury of the sanctuary.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yes, Mary\u2019s Immaculate Heart is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Ark of His Covenant.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Rev. 11:19) or as the Catechism of the Catholic Church states that Mary is, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Daughter of Zion in person, The Ark of the Covenant, the place where the glory of the Lord dwells.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2676) The Immaculate Heart of Mary is the New Ark of our time for the great flood of evil coming at us. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-455248\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/atxcatholic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Divine_Mercy_Shrine_Monstrance_Mary_Ark-550x366.jpg?resize=550%2C366\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"366\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">October 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> seems to be a special day since it was also on October 13, 1884 that Pope Leo XIII had the vision of St. Michael which led to the prayer of St. Michael being composed and prayed after all the masses worldwide until Vatican II. \u00a0Hence, as we approach the centenary on the Friday of October 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> let us take a closer look at Mary\u2019s important words about her Immaculate Heart being the solution for saving souls from hell:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cJesus wishes to make use of YOU to make me known and loved. He wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and those souls will be loved by God like flowers placed by me to adorn His throne.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> June 13, 1917<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYou have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, MANY SOULS WILL BE SAVED and there will be peace.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> July 13, 1917<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-455250\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/atxcatholic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/NoahsArk-253x190.jpg?resize=253%2C190\" alt=\"\" width=\"253\" height=\"190\" \/>The Immaculate Heart of Mary \u2013 The New Ark is God\u2019s way of bringing humans turned to animals because of sin inside her Immaculate Heart. \u00a0Once inside the New Ark, she washes, wipes, and cleans us off making us human again as any good mother would. \u00a0St. Alphonsus Liguori relates why she is the New Ark:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMary has been called an Ark more spacious than that of Noah. For only two animals of every kind were brought into the ark of Noah. But under the mantle of Mary, the righteous and sinners all find their place\u2026The animals that entered Noah\u2019s Ark remained animals. But sinners who are received under the mantle of Mary don\u2019t remain sinners. She is certain to change their hearts and to render them dear to God. The Blessed Virgin herself said to St. Bridget: \u2018However much a man may have sinned, if he returns to me with a genuine intention of repentance, I\u2019m ready at once to receive him. I don\u2019t pay attention to the sins with which he\u2019s burdened, but only to the good disposition in which he comes. And then I don\u2019t refuse to anoint and heal his wounds, for I am called, and truly am, the Mother of Mercy.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So how do we enter the New Ark? \u00a0Mary has many means of calling her children to board the New Ark. \u00a0For example, she sent an angel three times to teach the children prayers for adoration and reparation. \u00a0Also, in every Fatima apparition, she said, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPray the Rosary every day.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0In the last public Fatima apparition on October 13<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, she appeared as Our Lady of Mount Carmel promoting devotion to the brown scapular according to Lucia. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Later in 1925, Our Lady of Fatima gave the Five First Saturday Devotion in reparation to the Immaculate Heart, but there are other ways to enter her Immaculate Heart \u2013 the New Ark as when she gave St. Catherine Laboure the Miraculous Medal, the Seven Sorrows of Mary Devotion revealed to St. Bridget, Consecration to Mary, and many other approved devotions that lead us to a covenantal love with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-455252\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/atxcatholic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/medalback-130x190.jpg?resize=130%2C190\" alt=\"\" width=\"130\" height=\"190\" \/>Finally, Our Lady of Fatima reassures the children and us that although there will be wars, signs in the heavens, martyrdom, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (July 13, 1917) furthermore, on Dec. 30, 1989 in the approved apparitions of San Nicolas, Argentina the Our Lord Jesus Christ, himself, reminds us:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBefore, the world was saved by means of Noah&#8217;s Ark; today the Ark is My Mother.
