Fr. Bill Wack, CSC, Pastor of St. Ignatius, Martyr parish off South Congress, has been named as the sixth bishop of Pensacola-Tallahassee. Yes, all the way in Florida.<\/p>\n

Fr<\/del>. Bishop-Elect Bill had been pastor since 2009 and had served on the Diocesan Catholic School Board, Vice President of the Presbyteral Council, and Dean of the Austin Central Deanery.<\/p>\n

Though born in South Bend and a Domer through and through, I’m okay giving him Honorary Texan status.<\/p>\n

May God bless him and his ministry in Florida and may God bless the new pastor of St. Ignatius and those in his past ministries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
