For couples struggling to conceive, the ache of a missing child is one of life\u2019s greatest hardships. Living month-to-month, unsure of the outcome at the end of each cycle, couples exist somewhere between the ups and downs of a painful rollercoaster. Friends have moved on to playgroups, family members are asking about grandkids and tremendous energy must be spent uncovering any peace under the anger at the body, at life and at God.<\/p>\n

Add to this, the difficulty in discerning where to turn for help. With no other diagnosis are patients forced to grapple with so many issues. What is the root cause? What treatments are effective? Which treatments can we afford? Which treatments are ethical and morally sound? Which treatments will provide both peace of mind and peace of spirit? And, lastly, which treatments respect the dignity of the human being — the unborn child, the human body and the marital union?<\/p>\n

Fortunately, there are answers to these questions and resources available to help in understanding them. Effective treatments do exist that are void of the ethical considerations present in many current therapies. To learn more about treatment options as well as to partake in the healing process, consider participating in Sarah\u2019s Hope, a fertility and recurrent miscarriage healing and support group. Sarah\u2019s Hope, based on Catholic teaching, combines the wisdom of modern medicine with the healing power of the Church to offer hope\u2014 physically, emotionally and spiritually \u2013 for those carrying this great cross! Female-only meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday. The next meeting is Aug. 3 at 7 p.m.(rosary at 6:45 p.m.) at the Vitae Clinic, 1600 W. 38th<\/sup> St., suite 115.
