Her life&#8217;s work saw humankind, no matter how poor and destitute, for who they really are &#8211; blessed children of God.<\/p>\n<p>Brandon Heath, a Christian artist known for his singles &#8220;Give Me Your Eyes&#8221;, &#8220;The Light in Me&#8221; and &#8220;I&#8217;m Not Who I Was&#8221;, has used Mother Teresa&#8217;s words in his newest song &#8220;Jesus In Disguise.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Come on, it&#8217;s Monday morning. You can never be fully sure of the impact of a simple smile, prayer, conversation or display of faith can have on our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We have to remember that anyone we meet, come across or speak with can be, to borrow Mother Teresa&#8217;s words, Jesus in disguise.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re at a time where hate and judgement seem to be flung around news, social media, comment boxes and in public discourse all too easily. We have an election season that is heating up, stress because of unemployment and worries about how our government will respect our religious beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>But we have an opportunity to be different, to decide to treat other with respect and love.
