Even this past Sunday, we heard \u201cWhat good is it, my\u00a0brothers and sisters, if someone says he has faith but does not have works?\u201d. What does it mean to live\u00a0out our faith?<\/p>\n<p>At Catholic Charities of Central Texas, we are all about putting our faith into action by serving our\u00a0brothers and sisters in need. And we know that each and every individual has a beautiful and unique\u00a0way of living out their faith.<\/p>\n<p>With our quarterly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccctx.org\/wow\" target=\"_blank\">Women of the Well<\/a> event, we invite women of all\u00a0ages across the diocese to come together and be inspired and encouraged in their faith journeys by\u00a0hearing local female speakers talk about how they live out their faith in their family life, career and\/or\u00a0community service.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday, September 26th at 8:30am at the Diocese of Austin Pastoral Center, we are blessed to\u00a0be joined by Amber Fogarty for Catholic Charities\u2019 first <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccctx.org\/wow\" target=\"_blank\">Women of the Well<\/a>\u00a0event. Amber Fogarty is a Partner and Chief Marketing Officer for SOS Leadership Institute, an\u00a0organization committed to developing leaders that make a difference. She is also an Adjunct Faculty\u00a0Member for the School of Management and Business at St. Edward\u2019s University.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining SOS Leadership, Amber spent eleven years as a marketing communications professional\u00a0for both the nonprofit community and for-profit organizations. She currently serves as a Board Member\u00a0for Mobile Loaves and Fishes, as well as a volunteer and event co-chair for the Outreach and Education\u00a0Work Group for the Ending Community Homelessness Coalition (ECHO), which coordinates Austin\u2019s\u00a0Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.<\/p>\n<p>Amber received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and her MBA with a specialization in\u00a0Marketing from St. Edward\u2019s University. She was honored with a Presidential Award from SEU for\u00a0leadership, service, and academic excellence. She also earned a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and\u00a0Development from St. Mary\u2019s University of Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you\u2019ll join us and\/or help us spread the word about this new event!
