No longer would the people of God be discarded or treated poorly. God will claim us as His. This marriage imagery is intense and almost uncomfortable, but it shows the depth of His love for us. This is a unique marriage that goes beyond death.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Responsorial Psalm<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usccb.org\/bible\/psalms\/96:1\"><b>Psalm 96:1-2, 2-3, 7-8, 9-10<\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (3) <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proclaim his marvelous deeds to all the nations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><b>Reading 2<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usccb.org\/bible\/1corinthians\/12:4\"><b>1 COR 12:4-11<\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week\u2019s second reading from the epistle to the Church in Corinth is a clear outline of how we are to work as one body in Christ. From our baptism, we are all uniquely blessed with unique gifts called charisms that are given to us to support the work of the body. It\u2019s often tempting to see other\u2019s gifts as not as important or needed as ours or others, but we must see that we are all needed with our unique gifts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>Alleluia<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usccb.org\/bible\/2thessalonians\/2:14\"><b>CF. 2 THES 2:14<\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alleluia, alleluia.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">God has called us through the Gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><b>Gospel<\/b><b><br \/>\n<\/b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.usccb.org\/bible\/john\/2:1\"><b>John 2:1-11<\/b><\/a><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Gospel of John for this week\u2019s reading is a beautiful miracle story of Jesus that He performs as the request of His mother. This regular event is elevated to sacrament because Jesus understands that it is a unique force to give us purpose in our vocation. The Church calls it a sacrament of service because it orients our baptism, and through it the Lord reflects His love for us. We must continue to pray for marriages to be strong and for the Lord to grant the graces needed N<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Gospel meditation from Bishop V\u00e1squez<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reflection question<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How do we respond?
