The LORD is gracious and merciful,
\nslow to anger and of great kindness.
\nThe LORD is good to all
\nand compassionate toward all his works.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nI was reading this Monday morning while sitting with my daughter and I thought about how perfect God’s love is. \u00a0Not only that but I also realized how often I fall short of that kind of love in my own life. \u00a0As a father I know I’m supposed to be the example, the spiritual head of the family. \u00a0Unfortunately,\u00a0a lot of times I feel I fall way short of this in this job description. \u00a0There are time when I’m tired from staying up too late or getting up too early. Times when I don’t really feel like dealing with anyone. \u00a0Could you image if God was like this?<\/p>\n

“Eh ya’ll are on your own today, I’m taking the Day off…”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We’d be in pretty bad spot.\u00a0Luckily like the Psalm\u00a0reads “The LORD is gracious and merciful,\u00a0slow to anger and of great kindness”. \u00a0As Jesus tells us we should strive to be perfect like our\u00a0heavenly\u00a0Father is perfect. \u00a0We should strive to be perfect so that when we fail as we often do at least we’ll have a better chance of hitting the good mark instead of the perfect mark.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
