There are some mornings that I find it incredibly difficult to get out a bed. \u00a0In the fogginess of one early morning, lyrics from Bono singing Beautiful Day on the alarm clock unexpectedly struck my heart.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a beautiful day, don\u2019t let it get away.\u201d – U2<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I instantly thought of the countless moments I had wasted in my mornings because I felt too comfortable to get out of bed. Sleep is important, but I have often misused my time when it\u2019s so easy to hit the snooze button.<\/p>\n

Attending the recent funeral of a young person made me realize how much I take my own life for granted. It\u2019s sad that it often takes such dramatic events to wake me up from the rhythms of life, but I am also grateful for God\u2019s generosity with new opportunities.<\/p>\n

No matter how much difference there is in the material world, we all have the same time. No one is rich with time because we are only guaranteed the moment we have right now.<\/p>\n

Trusting in the goodness of the Lord, we can see that as a blessing, and one we shouldn\u2019t waste.<\/p>\n
