On April 9, 2013, Catholics from across the state will join in a rally hosted by our Texas Bishops at the State Capitol to promote our Church’s values of Life, Justice, Charity, and Religious Freedom to the 83rd Texas Legislature. Lou Holtz, football coaching legend and ESPN sports analyst, will be the featured speaker at the 7th Annual Benefit to support Catholic Charities of Central Texas on April 14, 2013 at the Renaissance Hotel beginning at 6:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $150 each. The Mobile Loaves and Fishes 5K will be held on Sunday May 5 at 8am, followed by a kids run at 9a.m. at Cedar Park High School. Registration is $30 for 5K racers in advance and $35 the day of the race.
